The Sunflower Project is a San Francisco in school youth coordinated campaign fighting to clean up the toxic radioactive contamination in Bayview Hunters Point and Treasure Island of San Francisco.

We're dedicated to youth education and mobilization. We work cross generationally, prioritizing youth leadership. The Sunflower Project members have made art, organized actions and worked to education their peers and community members on the dangerous effects of contamination and its existence. Our work in schools on this subject is made possible thanks to engagement with the SF Bay Shoreline Contamination Cleanup Coalition.
